About us

The Trust was formed in 1997 to try to preserve buildings of historic interest in the parish of Cullompton. It concentrated its efforts on the Walronds, a grade 1 property at serious risk built between 1602 and 1605. The property was bequeathed to the Trust by Miss Severn and the Misses Reeves. After extensive development work, with reports on all aspects of the property, repair and restoration began on 1 October 2012. The restored property was opened by HRH The Duke of Gloucester KG GCVO on 13 June 2014. The ground floor and garden are used for community and business purposes. The upper floors are privately let.
